Terms of Service

Welcome to CramAI. These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and 时氪砹（上海）人工智能技术有限责任公司, a company incorporated in the United States ("we"), governing your use of the CramAI website, apps and related services. Please read them carefully. By using the service you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use the service. Where these Terms conflict with mandatory law where you live, including consumer protection law, the mandatory law prevails.
The Service
CramAI is an AI study platform operated by 时氪砹（上海）人工智能技术有限责任公司 It offers material analysis, summaries and mind maps, question generation, practice and mock exams, automated grading, study plans and AI tutoring. The service is meant to support learning and does not replace formal education or professional advice. Unless expressly stated otherwise, CramAI is not affiliated with or endorsed by any exam organizer, question setter or certification body; exam names and trademarks shown on the site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the exams concerned.
Accounts and Registration
You must be at least 13 years old to register and use the service. If you are in mainland China and under 14, or below any other age required by the law where you live, you need the consent of a parent or guardian. Provide accurate information when you register, keep your credentials secure and do not share your account; you are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us immediately if you notice unauthorized use.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (1) use the service for illegal activities, or upload or share content that infringes others' intellectual property, privacy or other rights; (2) upload malware, viruses or harmful code; (3) attempt to reverse-engineer, hack or interfere with the service's systems; (4) impersonate anyone or misrepresent your relationship with any person; (5) use the service for academic dishonesty, such as cheating in exams; (6) use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content; (7) copy, resell or publicly distribute the question banks and materials provided on the platform.
Content and Intellectual Property
(1) Your materials: you keep your rights in your materials and confirm that you are entitled to upload and use them. To provide the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy and process your materials and to send them to the providers listed in the Privacy Policy to generate results; this licence ends when the materials are deleted. (2) AI-generated content: you may use summaries, questions, study plans and other output generated from your materials and instructions for personal study, to the extent permitted by law. Output may be similar to what other users receive, and we do not warrant that it does not infringe third-party rights. (3) Platform question banks and materials: past papers, mock questions and study materials provided on the platform come from public sources, third-party materials or our own writing, and we are reviewing the source and licensing of each item. Unless a page expressly says so, we do not claim to own all rights in these materials or to be officially authorized by the exam organizer. They are provided for your personal study only. (4) Infringement notices: if you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright or other rights, email support@cramai.net with the subject "Infringement notice" and include: your name and contact details; the work concerned and proof of your rights; the exact location of the allegedly infringing content (such as a URL); preliminary evidence of infringement; and a statement that the information in your notice is accurate. We will review the notice promptly, remove, take down or disable access to content that is confirmed or cannot be ruled out as infringing, and notify the affected user where practicable; that user may submit a counter-notice explaining why the content does not infringe. We may terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe. (5) The CramAI software, design, trademarks and brand belong to 时氪砹（上海）人工智能技术有限责任公司
Plans, Credits and Refunds
(1) Free plan: limited usage quotas. (2) Subscriptions (Pro, Max): paid by card through Stripe and renewed automatically every month or year at the then-current price. You can cancel at any time in account settings; after cancellation you keep access until the end of the current billing period, the subscription does not renew, and the current period is not refunded pro rata. At the start of each billing period your subscription credits are reset to the plan allowance, and unused subscription credits from the previous period do not carry over. Upgrades take effect immediately and the prorated difference is charged at once; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. (3) One-time purchases: where available (including with Alipay or WeChat Pay), you can buy one month or one year of a plan in a single payment; upgrading during that period requires paying the price difference. One-time purchases do not renew; the account returns to the free plan when the period ends, and credits granted with the plan remain usable afterwards. (4) 7-day pass: a one-time purchase, no auto-renewal, limited to one per account; unused credits expire when the pass ends. (5) Credit packs: available to paid users only; their credits do not expire, and neither do bonus credits such as sign-up credits. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash. (6) Refunds: to request a refund, contact support@cramai.net within 7 days of purchase and we will review it case by case. After a refund we deduct credits in proportion to the amount refunded, and a fully refunded plan returns to the free plan. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the law where you live, such as a consumer's statutory right of withdrawal. (7) Prices may change; we will give notice in advance, and changes do not affect a period you have already paid for.
AI-Generated Content and Practice Assessments
AI-generated content (including summaries, questions, answers, explanations and study plans) may be inaccurate or incomplete and is for study reference only. Automated grading, practice scores, ability radar charts, weak-area analysis and study suggestions are generated automatically for self-study reference only and may contain errors. They are not official scores, certifications or admission predictions, and we do not guarantee any exam result. Always rely on official announcements for exam dates, registration requirements, syllabi and other key information. Results vary from person to person. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content or assessment results.
Suspension and Termination
If you breach these Terms we may suspend or terminate your account. You can delete your account at any time in account settings. When you delete your account, any paid subscription stops renewing, the current paid period is not refunded except as described in section 5, and any remaining credits are forfeited. How account deletion works and what happens to your data afterwards is described in the "Retention and Deletion" section of the Privacy Policy.
Privacy and Data
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect, use, share, store and transfer your personal information across borders.
Changes, Disputes and Language
We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice before they take effect. If you keep using the service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account. If a dispute arises from these Terms, please first contact support@cramai.net so we can try to resolve it; these Terms do not limit your rights under mandatory law where you live, including your right to bring a claim before a competent court or to complain to a regulator. These Terms are provided in Chinese and English; other language versions are translations, and if they differ, the English version prevails.
